our contractor requirements.
Why do we refer Contractors to Homeowners and Building Owners?
“We Know the Good Guys!” is a free Chicagoland roofing referral service sponsored by Lakefront Roofing & Siding Supply. Everyone benefits- Homeowners and Building Owners, Contractors, and Lakefront! Re-roofing your home or building doesn’t happen every day. It usually only occurs once every 15-20 years. We work hard to help homeowners and building owners with free advice. In return, the business is usually placed with us, through the contractor.
How do we select the Contractors we refer?
The Contractors we refer are our customers and friends. They are people we know. We don’t refer a contractor unless we would be willing to hire them. If we are willing to hire them we are glad to refer them to a homeowner or building owner.
Do Contractors pay for our referrals?
No. If the referral results in a job, the Contractor usually purchases the materials from us. There is no binding agreement, only the understanding that we expect the homeowner or building owner to get great service.
How should you select a Contractor?
First, try to get a reliable referral. Next, the Contractor should provide proof of State License, Bonding, and Insurance coverage.
Finally, make your choice based on written job estimates, and your personal asessment of their professional appeal and the answers to your questions.
What should you do if you want an additional Contractor referral?
You should interview at least two qualified Contractors. If you interview more than three, the Contractors generally feel their time may be wasted. We refer contractors based on the information you provide us. Should you feel a Contractor is not qualified for the type of work your job requires, call us. We will gladly offer another referral.
